Serving gluten-free, seed-oil-free, dairy-free meals made with clean ingredients and locally sourced produce.

From-scratch bakery, coffee bar, and full kitchen in downtown Austin.
Sugarwolf is a bakery, coffee bar, and kitchen in downtown Austin. In the morning, we serve croissants, pastries, and espresso; at lunch, hand-built sandwiches and seasonal salads on house-made bread. Our pastry program is led by Chef Kevin Taylor, a Culinary Institute of America graduate whose background spans family restaurants, fine dining, and executive chef roles at ATX Cocina and Bulevar Mexican Kitchen. He leads the bakery with traditional methods, natural fermentation, and the patience pastry demands. Everything on the menu is made from scratch, no mixes. We also offer catering, gift cards, a full coffee and espresso bar, and a beer, wine, and cocktails program.
Our kitchen is seed-oil free. We use organic artisan flour, grass-fed butter, and thoughtfully sourced meats. What we cannot make in house is sourced from farms, ranches, and producers we know and trust. Our sourdough undergoes a 36-hour ferment. Croissants are laminated with 82% butter. Focaccia is made with Graza olive oil. Specialty coffee beans come from Voyager Craft Coffee in San Jose, pulled on a Kees Van Der Westen Idrocompresso machine. House-fermented shrubs and syrups are used for our bar program.
