Permaculture farm offering CSA shares, seasonal vegetables, eggs, honey, and a weekly on-site market.
Sobremesa Farm was founded in 2013 with a focus on organically grown fruits and vegetables delivered directly to its local community. The farm takes a permaculture approach, chosen for its flexibility and regenerative growing model. Produce is sold through a CSA subscription program, an on-site Sunday market, and Wednesday drop-off pickup points. CSA shares run in 8-week sessions and include 5 to 6 freshly harvested items per week, drawn from leafy greens, root crops, fruiting vegetables, alliums, fresh herbs, and seasonal specialties. Chicken and duck eggs are included in shares when available. Beyond produce, the farm also offers raw honey, teas, jams, and cutting flowers. Learn more on their About Page.
Sobremesa Farm uses a permaculture growing system, which it describes as a regenerative model. The farm raises pasture-raised chickens and supplements its birds with USDA organic feed rations. CSA shares reflect the natural rhythm of the growing season, with share contents shifting week to week as crops reach peak ripeness.
