Small Farmz

Small Farmz is a working demonstration farm and living classroom on nearly three acres in the metro Atlanta area, founded by farmer, educator, and food systems builder Maurice Small. The farm grows produce, flowers, and herbs using regenerative practices, and serves as a hands-on space where visitors can learn to grow food alongside an experienced guide. Small Farmz offers workshops, personalized garden consultations, one-on-one coaching, composting services, and expert consulting for farm and garden start-ups. Maurice Small brings more than 25 years of growing experience to the work, and was honored with the Rodale Institute's inaugural Organic Pioneer Award in 2011. Learn more on their About Page.
