Grass-finished beef, pastured pork, lamb, and chicken from a family-run regenerative farm in East Texas.
SK Prime Pastures is a family-owned, 163-acre regenerative ranch operated by Seth and Kirstin Whitmire in Grapeland, Texas. The couple has raised and sold pasture-raised meats since 2013 and moved the operation to East Texas in 2024. SK Prime Pastures raises grass-finished beef and lamb, pastured heritage pork, and pastured chicken, selling individual cuts, freezer boxes, homestead bundles, and farm shares (beef, hog, and lamb) sized from an eighth up to a whole animal. Beef shares are dry-aged 14 days at a partner butcher and can be picked up, delivered locally, or shipped frozen. The farm also accepts EBT through a partner platform. Learn more on their About Page.
SK Prime Pastures practices rotational grazing, moving cattle and lambs to fresh pasture every morning to allow soil recovery between grazing cycles. Beef and lamb are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, with no grain finishing. Chickens and hogs are raised on pasture and fed a non-GMO feed mix that is corn-free and soy-free. The farm does not use hormones, antibiotics, or vaccines on any of its animals, and pastures are not sprayed with chemicals. Seth and Kirstin handle every animal on the property directly each day, keeping the operation at a scale they can manage without outside shortcuts.
