School House Bees

School House Bees is a family-run apiary and beekeeping operation based in Covington, KY, selling honey under the Spille's Honey name. The business traces its roots to 1975, when founder Ron Spille began keeping bees to support fruit and vegetable farming. It produces raw, unfiltered honey drawn from native wildflowers, alfalfa, and clover. Honey is available in a range of sizes, from squeeze bottles and glass jars to bulk buckets, alongside honey butter, beeswax, specialty honey, and gift baskets. School House Bees also sells live Italian Hybrid Nucs and bee hive starter kits each spring, and stocks a full inventory of beekeeping supplies for hobbyists and working beekeepers alike.
