Rains & Sun Hilltop Farm is a small, family-run certified organic vegetable farm operated by the Raines family. The farm grows more than 30 types of vegetables and sells them through a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) share program and at local farmers markets. CSA members can choose a traditional share, where farmers select 6 to 8 vegetable varieties each week, or a customizable share that lets members swap items through an online store. Shares are available weekly or biweekly across a seasonal run, with pickup options at the farm and at several Northern Kentucky farmers market locations. The farm also holds a seasonal spring plant sale.
Rains & Sun Hilltop Farm is USDA certified organic through the Kentucky Department of Agriculture and is a member of the Organic Association of Kentucky. The farm works with nature for pest control rather than synthetic inputs, builds soil health through cover crops and compost, and limits environmental impact through minimal tillage. Production is kept deliberately small-scale and hyper-local.
