Purdy's Macadamia Nut Farm

Purdy's Natural Macadamia Nut Farm is a 5-acre Hawaiian homestead in the Ho'olehua district of Moloka'i, operated by Tuddie and Kammy Purdy since 1980. The farm's original orchard of 50 trees was planted in the 1920s, and the grove has been continuously expanded since, now including several hundred younger trees. Visitors are welcome to tour the farm, learn to crack macadamia nuts by hand, and sample nuts fresh from the shell along with macadamia blossom honey. The farm also offers macadamia nut oil and gift boxes. Products are available for purchase on-site and by mail order. Every member of the Purdy family participates in the care of the trees and in gathering and preparing the nuts.
