Oxford Farms is a 130-acre farm featuring rolling pasture, forested slopes, and a scenic pond, with much of its acreage classified by the NRCS as prime farmland. The farm runs a rotating livestock operation with a small beef herd, a sheep flock, meat chickens, and laying hens, alongside an intensive one-acre vegetable plot supported by three greenhouses. Products include grass-fed and finished beef and lamb, pasture-raised chicken, farm-fresh eggs, and a wide range of vegetables. Oxford Farms describes its approach as ecological and regenerative. Livestock are rotated to fresh pasture in the growing season, and no antibiotics or hormones are administered to cattle, sheep, or chickens. Beef and lamb are 100% grass-fed and finished, with no grain ever used. Meat chickens are fed certified organic grain, and laying hens receive certified organic, soy-free grain. The farm employs an intensive grazing system designed to rest large portions of pasture longer than usual and encourage re-establishment of diverse native plants. All meat is processed in a USDA-inspected facility, vacuum sealed, and frozen. On the vegetable side, the farm uses compost, natural fertilizers, and minerals to feed the soil microbiome, avoids pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, and synthetic fertilizers, reduces tillage and compaction, and uses organic seeds whenever available.
