Narrow Gap Farm is a family-owned and operated beef cattle operation located outside Brewton, Alabama, run by Kevin and Rachael Fillmore. The farm has been offering all-natural, grass-fed and finished beef to families for over 20 years. Beef is available for purchase as a quarter, half, or whole. The farm does not process until the beef is sold, which it describes as ensuring a fresh farm-to-table product. Narrow Gap Farm raises cattle on a grass-fed and finished diet with no antibiotics and no hormones. The cattle graze on grass and grass hay. Beef is priced based on the live weight of the cow and processed year-round, typically with orders booked 30 to 45 days in advance. Customers who purchase at least a half cow fill out a custom cut sheet; quarter purchases receive standard cuts including roasts, round steaks, steaks, and ground beef. Bones and fat can also be requested. The farm works with named local butchers for processing, and beef hangs for approximately 14 days before pickup.
