Montana Ranch and Cattle Company is a six-generation family cattle operation rooted in a lineage tracing back to 1836, when founder Captain Benjamin Franklin Bryant received a land grant after fighting at the Battle of San Jacinto. The ranch sells 100% grass-fed, USDA Prime beef, including steaks, ground beef, and whole or half beef, alongside beef tallow and natural cage-free chicken. Every cut is hand-butchered and sold direct from the ranch. Beef is available for purchase through the ranch's online store as well as in person at Fresh Harvest Market in Bakersfield.
Montana Ranch and Cattle Company raises 100% grass-fed, pasture-raised cattle with no hormones, no antibiotics, and no steroids. The ranch describes its pastures as regeneratively managed. All beef sold is graded USDA Prime, with no Choice or Select cuts offered. The chicken line is described as natural and cage-free. The beef tallow is derived from the ranch's own grass-fed cattle.
