Brite Creek Farm is a family-run farm in Tehachapi, California, operated by the Shipman family. It grows a rotating selection of seasonal vegetables alongside grassfed beef, pastured chicken, turkeys, and pasture-raised eggs. The farm also carries artisan food, baked goods, and gifts. Products are available at a weekly on-farm store, open Wednesday through Saturday, housed in a vintage Airstream trailer. Bulk beef orders in whole, half, quarter, and smaller configurations are processed monthly. Brite Creek Farm raises 100% grassfed beef that is never fed grain, dry-aged for tenderness and flavor, and processed at a small family USDA facility where meats are hand-cut and packaged in small groups. All pastures and vegetables are grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers, and the farm uses only non-GMO seed for its produce. Chickens and eggs are pastured and non-GMO, raised with no antibiotics, hormones, or steroids. The farm describes its approach as regenerative, focused on soil restoration and rotational, multi-species grazing. Grassfed beef is vacuum packed and flash frozen for delivery.
