Certified organic, no-till vegetable and fruit farm offering a year-round CSA, pastured poultry, and farm-fresh eggs.
McKerracher Family Farm was founded in 2016 in Athol, Idaho, beginning with blueberries and vegetables and selling at local farmers markets and wholesale to Spokane restaurants. Now in its second generation, the farm operates a year-round CSA (Farm Fresh Club) that delivers weekly bags of seasonal produce during the busy season and bi-weekly or monthly bags through winter. Members can add on farm-fresh eggs and fresh flower bouquets. The farm also raises pastured poultry available by pre-order, and offers bedding plants and hanging baskets. Its mission is to reconnect people to their farmer and to their food through direct local sales. Learn more on their About Page.
McKerracher Family Farm is a Certified Organic and no-till operation. It never uses chemicals, synthetic pesticides, or herbicides on any of its crops. The farm's laying hens are fed local feed with no GMO ingredients and no corn, soy, or synthetic feed items. CSA bags are packed with the best of what is in season, typically including two to three greens, two root crops, one to three summer crops or fruit, and an herb each week.
