Family-owned, 900-acre Georgia farm raising grass-fed beef, pastured pork, poultry, lamb, goat, and eggs.
Marview Farms is a 900-acre, family-owned and -operated livestock farm in Crisp County, Georgia, founded in 2009 by Fernando and Margarita Mendez. The farm is named as a tribute to Margarita and the views the family enjoys each day. Since 2013, Marview has operated as a 100% grass-fed, grass-finished farm. It raises beef, lamb, goat, pastured pork, pastured poultry, and truly free-range eggs, and also sells honey, dairy, and other farm products. Every cut of meat comes from animals born, raised, finished, and processed on the farm itself, with an on-site processing facility opened to support that end-to-end traceability. The farm holds American Grassfed Association, Georgia Grown, and USDA Organic certifications. Learn more on their About Page.
The farm's soils are USDA Certified Organic. Animals are born and raised in family units on the farm and spend their entire lives on pasture, following what the farm describes as a natural, biodynamic approach to soil management. Grazing returns native minerals and nutrients to the earth, keeping soils fertile. The farm's goal is to be as self-reliant as possible and to minimize dependency on outside sources. Marview holds American Grassfed Association certification and Georgia Grown certification alongside its USDA Organic certification.
