Certified organic produce, fresh herbs, and seasonal vegetables grown on a co-farm plot in Rockdale County.
Locs and Heritage Farm is a certified organic farm founded by Jasmine Lee, rooted in a commitment to regenerative agriculture and Black agricultural traditions. Lee completed Georgia Organics' flagship farmer apprenticeship in 2023 and began farming a plot at the Global Growers Network Organic Rockdale Co-Farm in 2024, later earning a transition to a certified organic plot. The farm grows fresh herbs, greens, fruit, and seasonal vegetables, offering on-farm pickup, local delivery within 10 miles, and a presence at the Rockdale Farmers Market. It accepts SNAP/EBT, making certified organic produce accessible to families using nutrition assistance benefits. Beyond selling produce, the farm hosts workshops, educational presentations, and volunteer opportunities that invite the wider community to connect with the land. Learn more on their About Page.
Locs and Heritage Farm operates on a certified organic plot, following organic production standards. The farm uses regenerative and permaculture-based growing methods to nourish the soil and support biodiversity. Farm infrastructure is built with non-toxic materials as part of an intentional, environmentally considered design approach. Lee completed Georgia Organics' farmer apprenticeship program, which provided hands-on grounding in organic production, before earning approval to farm a certified organic plot at the Global Growers Network Organic Rockdale Co-Farm.
