HertaBerkSchwein Farm is a family-owned and operated farm raising Berkshire hogs on 20 acres in Groveland, Florida. The farm started from a personal desire to raise pork for home consumption, then grew into a commercial operation. It acquired a retiring farmer's Hereford herd, slaughter and processing plant layout, and USDA certification, consolidating everything at its Groveland location. HertaBerkSchwein Farm raises Berkshire hogs, a breed chosen for both meat quality and temperament.
