Founded in 2015, the ranch raises pasture-raised beef, pork, lamb, chicken, turkey, and eggs, and also carries Amish dairy products, wild-caught seafood, and specialty items such as honey and jerky. Happy Life Ranch raises all livestock on open pasture using rotational grazing and regenerative ranching practices. Animals are never fed soy, corn, or GMO feed, and are raised without antibiotics or added hormones. The ranch does not use artificial fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. Feed for the animals is grown on the farm itself. The ranch describes its approach as holistic, with attention to animal welfare, soil health, and the surrounding ecosystem. Freedom Ranger chickens are a named breed raised on the property for both meat and eggs.
