Hani Honey Company is a family-owned and -operated apiary producing raw honey and a range of hive-derived products. Its honey varieties include Orange Blossom, Tupelo, Saw Palmetto, and wildflower blends, alongside creamed honey, infused honeys, comb honey, pollen, royal jelly, and beeswax candles. The company also operates an on-site eatery and meadery, offering mead pours and flights made from its own honey. Beekeeping lessons, bee removal services, nucleus hives, and mated queens round out its offerings. Hani Honey holds a Slow Food Snail of Approval from the Slow Food Gold and Treasure Coast chapter and is a member of Fresh From Florida. Learn more on their About Page.
Hani Honey's apiaries are located across Martin, St. Lucie, and Palm Beach counties. The bees are moved regularly to expose them to fresh forage and water sources, and the hives are kept on local farms that do not use pesticides or herbicides. The business does not treat its bees with chemicals. Honey is freshly extracted throughout each bloom and nectar flow season, and the wildflower varieties draw on native plants including Orange Blossom, Saw Palmetto, Mangrove, and Brazilian Pepper. The honey is described as unheated and unfiltered. Lead beekeeper Jennifer Holmes is a UFIFAS Master Beekeeper and UFIFAS Senior Welsh Honey Judge, and she and her husband Chris are registered as a Commercial Beekeeper and Queen Breeder in the state of Florida.
