G Farms is a locally owned, family-operated small farm in Terrell, Texas, raising pasture-grazed, grass-fed and grass-finished cattle. The farm's signature offering is cowpooling: customers purchase a share of a live animal (1/8, 1/4, or 1/2) without needing to find other buyers themselves. G Farms coordinates all groupings, handles transport to the processor, and delivers the finished beef directly to customers' homes. Delivery service covers North Texas, East Texas, the Austin area, and the Woodlands/North Houston corridor. The farm also offers additional cuts and organ meats, hay operations, full-care horse boarding, beekeeping, land management services, and pasture mowing. G Farms raises its cattle on pasture, feeding them grass only and baling its own hay from its own fields so it controls what goes into the feed. The farm states it does not introduce grains, antibiotics, growth hormones, chemical agents, or chemical residues into its cattle. Beef carcasses are dry-aged for 21 days prior to processing to develop flavor and tenderness through natural enzyme activity and moisture evaporation. All carcasses are processed under USDA inspection, with an on-site USDA inspector testing for disease, antibiotics, and other issues. Delivery includes a walk-through of every cut, freezer organization, and guidance on handling and storage to minimize freezer burn.
