Overview
Raw, unprocessed honey and beeswax products from a Franklin, MA apiary established in 2006
Franklin Honey Company, Inc. is an apiary founded in spring 2006 by Roger and Lauren. What began with two honeybee colonies has grown to 35 or more hives, located across multiple farm sites in the area. The company produces raw, unprocessed honey in a range of sizes, as well as cut comb. Beyond honey, it offers a broad line of beeswax-based products including soaps in dozens of scents, lip balm, hand cream, votive candles, and pure beeswax. Bee equipment and bee services round out its offerings. Products can be found at local farmers' markets seasonally and via curbside pickup. Learn more on their About Page.
Franklin Honey Company, Inc. raises its colonies without antibiotics or harsh chemicals. The business states this approach has, over time, helped develop strong strains capable of resisting mites, diseases, pests, and harsh winters. Its honey is described as pure and unaltered, raw and unprocessed. The beeswax soaps are made with beeswax, organic oils, and essential oil blends. Roger builds the hive components himself, tailoring each piece to suit the needs of the bees.
