USDA certified-organic market garden growing vegetables, cut flowers, herbs, and blueberries since 1984.
Dripping Springs Garden is a USDA certified-organic market garden tucked into a forested valley along Dry Fork Creek in Carroll County, Arkansas. Founded in 1984 by Mark Cain and Michael Crane, the four-acre intensively cultivated garden produces more than 30 types of vegetables, 60 species of cut flowers, culinary herbs, blueberries, and shiitake mushrooms. The garden is laid out in terraced, raised beds carved into the slopes overlooking the creek. Dripping Springs sells primarily at the Fayetteville Farmers Market and also supplies select retail outlets and restaurants in Northwest Arkansas. Each summer the farm hosts student apprentices who work alongside Cain and Crane, making it an active site of production and learning. Learn more on their About Page.
Dripping Springs Garden holds USDA certified-organic status and has grown without synthetic pesticides since its founding in 1984. The garden uses intensive, terraced raised-bed cultivation on four acres, with high tunnels extending the growing season into winter months. Water comes from Dry Fork Creek, which flows through the valley. The farm incorporates a seasonal apprentice program, bringing in students each summer to participate in seeding, weeding, harvesting, and marketing.
