DaySpring Farms is a 95-acre, family-owned and operated farm in Danielsville, Georgia, founded in 2011 by Murray and Paula Brett. The farm is USDA Certified Organic and grows wheat, corn, and dry pea varieties on site. After beginning with produce for farmers markets and restaurants, the farm expanded into row crop cultivation in 2013. An on-site cleaning and milling facility, known as The Mill at DaySpring Farms, opened in October 2014. DaySpring sells its products both wholesale and retail, and offers local pickup orders as well as online ordering.
DaySpring Farms holds USDA Organic certification and grows its grains on the farm's own 95 acres. Grains are grown, cleaned, and milled fresh on site at The Mill at DaySpring Farms. The mill produces a full line of organic wheat flours, including whole wheat, artisan, all-purpose, bread, rye, pastry, and heirloom varieties such as Rouge de Bordeaux and Appalachian White, as well as organic cornmeal, grits, polenta, and wheat berries. The farm mills each week to provide freshly milled products for pickup or shipping.
