Open to all shoppers, it offers membership with benefits including member-only sales, 1% credit back on purchases, and a 10% Community Discount for qualifying members such as students and lower-income households. The store carries a deli with sandwiches and coffee, charcuterie boards, sushi, bulk goods, and a wide grocery selection. Davis Food Co-op sources produce year-round from a named roster of local farms, prioritizing certified organic growers in the Sacramento Valley and Capay Valley regions. Long-standing partners include Full Belly Farm (farming organically since 1985), Riverdog Farm (500-acre certified organic family farm, Capay Valley), Terra Firma Farm (organic since 1993), and Durst Organic Growers (Yolo County). Seasonal suppliers include USDA Certified Organic farms such as Daisy Creek Farms, The Cloverleaf Farm (USDA organic, certified by Yolo County), and Blue Heron Farm (CCOF and Real Organic certified). The co-op also carries small-batch, cold-pressed olive oil from Yolo Press and locally grown microgreens from Finz Farmz. Its sustainability commitments include food rescue and responsible disposal or recycling programs.
