Pick-your-own farm with a farm stand, CSA, on-site cafe, and bakery in East Falmouth.
Coonamessett Farm was founded in 1982 when Ron and Roxanna purchased 20 acres in Hatchville with the goal of starting a farm. Today it grows vegetables and fruits for the surrounding area and offers a pick-your-own experience across its fields. Visitors can shop at the farm stand, grab a pastry, and sign up for memberships. The property also includes the Buffalo Jump Cafe and the Peck O' Dirt Bakery. A CSA program delivers a weekly box of seasonal produce, and a separate Cheese CSA offers a rotating selection of New England cheeses each week. Coonamessett Farm describes its CSA produce as organically grown. Weekly CSA boxes are sourced from Coonamessett Farm itself and, where needed, from a local cooperating farm. Each box includes a field salad mix, an herb of the week, garden plants or a flower bouquet, and an assortment of seasonal vegetables. The Cheese CSA features locally sourced cheeses from New England cheesemakers. The farm stand sells Cape Cod Honey sourced from Coonamessett Farm and other nearby local farms.
