Charley's Chicks is a family-run backyard chicken farm that has been raising poultry since 2020. The farm offers more than 100 breeds across categories including Standard, Specialty, and Rare Breeds, as well as broilers, guineas, turkeys, and waterfowl. Customers can shop on-farm for chickens of all ages, from day-old chicks to started pullets and laying hens. In addition to live birds, the farm sells custom-formulated NonGMO feeds, feeders, drinkers, and supplements. Charley's Chicks also offers a Ready-to-Lay Pullet Program, pre-orders for baby chicks and meat birds, and a Chicken Harvest Workshop. Charley's Chicks raises its flocks on pasture and feeds all poultry a custom-formulated NonGMO feed supplemented with an activated bio-carbon supplement to support digestive health. All poultry starts as day-old chicks sourced from NPIP-certified breeders across the United States. Chicks are sexed pullets (except bantams, guineas, turkeys, and broilers), vaccinated for Marek's disease, and placed on a preventative coccidiosis treatment schedule. The farm rotates breed availability monthly, maintaining over 3,000 birds of varying ages and breeds at any given time. Charley's Chicks follows a structured rearing program designed to exceed standard minimum requirements for backyard poultry care.
