Organically grown vegetable and flower farm offering CSA shares and farmers market produce
Beets & Blooms Farm is a 12-acre farm of field and forest situated just over the Portland line in East Hampton, near the Connecticut River. It grows vegetables and flowers using organic and sustainable farming practices, with a goal of leaving the land better than it was found. The farm is owned and operated by Brittany Hall, who specializes in vegetable production and field management, and Caley Brooks, who leads the flower operation. Produce and flowers reach customers through seasonal CSA shares (full and half options for both vegetables and flowers), an online shop, and appearances at the Middletown Farmers Market and the Stony Creek Farmers Market in Branford. Learn more on their About Page.
Beets & Blooms Farm grows without synthetic pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, guided by organic and no-till farming methods. The farm works to restore its soils from fallow hay field, drawing on the fertile ground of the Connecticut River Valley. It holds USDA Organic certification and is affiliated with the Real Organic Project, an add-on certification that verifies soil-based, organic practices.
