Multi-generation family farm selling Berkshire-Duroc pork, grass-fed beef, and pastured poultry direct to consumers.
Arnold's Farm is a 460-acre diversified livestock operation in the Driftless Region of Illinois, near Elizabeth in Jo Daviess County. Tom and Jessica Arnold are the 4th and 5th generations on land that Tom's family has farmed since 1886; they purchased the farm in 1990. The farm runs a farrow-to-finish hog enterprise, a pasture-based beef program, and raises pastured poultry and eggs. Cuts from all three are sold direct to consumers through home delivery routes and on-farm pickup. Tom's earlier work in food distribution shaped the farm's direct-sales model. Retail and restaurant partners in the region also carry Arnold's Farm products. Learn more on their About Page.
Arnold's Farm raises Berkshire-Duroc hogs in a farrow-to-finish system, meaning animals are born and raised through to processing on the same farm. Beef is raised on a pasture-based system, and the farm offers both grass-fed and grain-finished beef as distinct product lines. Poultry and eggs are pastured. The farm also grows its own corn, oats, and alfalfa/grass hay to support its feed needs. Select pork products, including certain bacon items, are processed without MSG or sodium nitrates.
