Regenerative market garden offering CSA shares, pastured eggs, raw honey, and seasonal produce in Fairbanks.
Alaskan Farm is a small, regenerative market garden established in 2018 and stewarded by 4th-generation Alaskans on raw land off Farmers Loop Road in Fairbanks. The farm grows over 50 crops for its seasonal CSA program, running approximately mid-June through September, with half and full share options for individuals and families. CSA members receive weekly produce pickups along with 'Field Notes' covering what is in season. Beyond vegetables, the farm also offers pastured eggs, raw honey, herbal teas, herbal salt, and seasonal farmhouse decor through its Online Market. As of 2026, the farm is in a self-described fallow season, with select products still available for local pickup or Alaska shipping.
Alaskan Farm follows a regenerative and organically grown philosophy, using no GMOs, pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides of any kind. The farm does not hold USDA-certified organic certification, noting that it is cost-prohibitive for small farmers, but grows according to regenerative-organic principles focused on healthy soil and nutrient-dense produce. Hens are pastured in summer and free-range in winter, fed a diet of locally made feed supplemented with Delta Barley, pasture grass, farm greens, vegetable scraps, and insects. The farm explicitly states it uses no pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides on its egg production either.
