Sustainable flower farm producing small-batch skincare, bath goods, and farm-grown flowers in historic Mooresville, Alabama.
1818 Farms is a three-acre sustainable flower farm and lifestyle brand in the historic village of Mooresville, Alabama, founded by Natasha McCrary and named for the year Mooresville was incorporated. The farm grows more than 15,000 flowers and raises Southdown Babydoll sheep, hens, and a mini pig. Its signature product, the Shea Creme, won Good Housekeeping's 2023 Beauty Award for Best Body Butter. Beyond skincare, 1818 Farms offers farm-grown cut flowers, dried and pressed flowers, seeds, candles, botanical wax sachets, soaps, and gift baskets. The farm also hosts seasonal workshops covering topics such as flower pressing, wreath-making, and dried flower arranging, and offers private tours and photo shoots on the property.
1818 Farms describes itself as a sustainable flower farm and uses heirloom and saved flower seeds whenever possible, selecting varieties that thrive in its local growing conditions. Bath and beauty products are handmade, hand-packaged, and made with therapeutic-grade ingredients using original small-batch recipes. The farm's Seed to Vase initiative guides customers through growing, harvesting, and arranging seasonally grown flowers. The farm also practices rotational grazing for its sheep.
