Smyly Farms is a first-generation, regenerative pastured poultry farm on 81 acres in the Chattahoochee Hills area of Fulton County. The farm raises Pekin ducks for meat and Hy-Line Brown chickens for eggs, and also produces duck bone broth and stew hens. Its eggs carry a Certified Organic designation, and its duck meat is Certified Naturally Grown. Products are available for pickup at farmers market locations, with online ordering through the farm's Square storefront. Smyly Farms is a participant in the Conservation Fund's Working Farms Fund, which helped protect the farm's acreage as part of the southwest Atlanta metro's remaining rural landscape.
Smyly Farms raises its ducks and chickens on pasture, rotating flocks to fresh grass and using electric fencing to manage their foraging areas. The farm supplements its livestock exclusively with certified organic feed, meaning the animals are never exposed to feed grown with synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. The operation uses no-till methods for vegetable production and applies pasture rotation across its poultry program. Livestock are raised without antibiotics or hormones. The farm's chicken eggs hold a Certified Organic designation, and its duck meat is Certified Naturally Grown.
