Olde Hearth Bread Company

Olde Hearth Bread Company was founded in 1998 by culinary school graduates Shannon and Janice Talty, both with professional baking backgrounds. Shannon trained at the Culinary Institute of America and worked at Acme Bread Company in the San Francisco Bay Area before returning to Florida to open Central Florida's first handcrafted artisan bakery. The company bakes artisan loaves, baguettes, sourdoughs, dinner rolls, croissants, Danish pastries, scones, muffins, flatbreads, and granola. It serves hotels, restaurants, and caterers across Orlando and Central Florida, and sells directly to consumers at regional farmers markets and through three Central Florida Whole Foods locations. The bakery has received a 2007 Entrepreneur of the Year award and a 2008 Industry Recognition award from the Seminole County Chamber of Commerce. Learn more on their About Page.
