New Pond Farm Dairy

New Pond Farm is a year-round working farm and environmental education center founded in 1985 on 102 acres of protected land in Fairfield County. Its dairy herd of approximately fourteen cows, with four to five in the milking rotation at any given time, produces up to 50 gallons of milk daily. The farm's Dairy Annex sells fresh milk, chocolate milk, and yogurt, all pasteurized but not homogenized. Fresh eggs are collected daily and also available at the Annex. Seasonal meats, including pork, lamb, and beef, are offered on a limited basis. The Connecticut Department of Agriculture has designated New Pond Farm a Dairy Farm of Distinction, recognizing its milk quality and farm stewardship. Learn more on their About Page.
