K Bar K Meats is a working Texas ranch that has raised Polled Hereford cattle since 1986. It sells an extensive range of beef cuts, from filets and ribeyes to organ meats and bones, alongside a full line of pork and chicken products, including sausages, bacon, ham, eggs, and broths. The business operates without a retail storefront, instead fulfilling orders through scheduled delivery routes across the north side of the DFW area and a local Friday delivery option. All livestock at K Bar K Meats is pasture-raised. The cattle are born and raised on grass and supplemented only during extreme weather or pasture transitions, using a forage-based cube rather than a grain-based feed, making them 99.9% grass-fed. Pigs are born and raised on pasture. Chicks are introduced to pasture at two weeks old. Both chickens and pigs receive a supplemental ration of GMO-free feed. The ranch does not use antibiotics, hormones, or vaccines on its cattle, pigs, or chickens.
