Chicken Town Egg Farm was founded in 2020 by Chris and Jennifer Morris, who set out to raise pasture-raised chickens without pesticides, antibiotics, or hormones. In March 2024, the farm joined the Brent Floating Farms family of companies, led by Frank and Cinda Brent, who brought decades of poultry experience to the operation. The farm sells non-graded eggs at local farmer's markets and through wholesale to grocery stores. Chicken Town Egg Farm's hens are pasture-raised, with free access to forage for grass and insects. The farm feeds its flock USDA certified organic, non-GMO feed exclusively. Hens drink only collected rainwater, stored in on-site water totes. The farm uses no pesticides, antibiotics, or hormones. The eggs are non-graded and sold as-is from the farm. Livestock guardian dogs are kept on the property to deter foxes, coyotes, and other predators. The farm is not certified organic.
